Shipment fees are calculated based on actual or volumetric weight, whichever is greater. Volumetric weight in pounds is calculated using the formula (L x B x H)/ 166. We will not accept and pay for COD shipments at our Miami office unless prior written arrangements have been made and accepted in writing by EZShopTT Limited. We will not accept packages that are opened or appear to be damaged when they get to our Miami office, however we will notify you if they arrive in this condition. All packages must be accompanied by an invoice so they can be cleared immediately through customs upon arrival in Trinidad. Packages without invoices may be delayed and you may be overcharged based on Customs and Excise value . assessment
We will pay up front all charges necessary to clear your "non trade" shipments. "Non trade" packages are those imported for personal use
Shipments valued in excess of US$3,000.00 may be considered "trade shipments" and you will be required to provide additional documentation for customs clearance. "Trade shipments" are packages imported for commercial use
5. Limitations of Liability:
EZShopTT assumes responsibility of your package only upon arrival and acceptance at our Miami office.
6. Miami Address:
The U.S. shipping address is the property of EZShopTT and is to be used only for the shipment/delivery of your packages, magazines and approved cargo to your EZShopTT SKYBox
This address may not be used for registering businesses in the United States
As being a customer of EZShopTT Limited, you agree that you will pay all duties and VAT charges incurred to clear your packages. All of these charges are paid up front by EZShopTT on your behalf. Upon delivery, you will be billed for all charges incurred in this regard.
All deliveries are on a Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.) basis. Your EZShopTT invoice will detail all freight, duty, VAT, courtesy and handling charges where applicable.
At this time EZShopTT will not receive and ship mail because of the large quantity of "junk" mail, such as flyers, coupon books, etc. that U.S addresses receive. We will however receive magazines/magazine subscriptions.
Deliveries will be made to one (1) address only, i.e. the one that appears on our registration form.
The account holder is liable for all charges incurred to their box/suite number.
If there are any outstanding charges on your account, your box may be temporarily disabled, or your packages will be held until payments are resolved, or unless an arrangement in writing is made beforehand.
10. Storage of Packages in Trinidad
EZShopTT will store packages on your behalf at your request for a period of up to two (2) weeks. Anything beyond that will be charged a storage fee of TT $12.00 per day, per package. Packages left unclaimed will be discarded after thirty (30) days from date received.
Ezshoptt will Repackage customers goods if requested as shown in Our Rates. We will not repackage any cargo/box/package containing fragile or electronic item(s). Cargo specially packaged will not be repacked. We are not required to repackage any item/box, especially if the repackage option is not selected on the customers' account and/or if WE feel that the item may be compromised in any way.
Packages purchased through EZShopTT will not be repackaged automatically.
12. Shopping Concierge
Our EZShopTT Service provides a service whereby we receive a web link for each item to be quoted on, unless otherwise agreed by EZShopTT . We are responsible for ordering items which were quoted on and agreed to by the customer via confirmation email or document. Once paid for in full and once payment have been received and cleared through the payment method used, item(s) order will be placed within 3 business days thereafter. We are not responsible for the delivery time from the item seller to our warehouse in Miami. We are not responsible for the condition packages or contents, although we will do our best and use our discretion and would not accept packages if they appear to be damaged, opened or for any other reason we feel which may detrimentally affect the condition of each package. If after 30 days of EZShopTT placing the order, and the package is not received at our warehouse in Miami, the customer can request a refund less our 10% service fee. Customer refunds will be effected within 14 days after the customer requests the refund.
VAT on Local Handling
Why am I being charged an additional 75 cents on my invoice?
This new tax has been imposed by the Inland Revenue Division of the Ministry of Finance and applies to all skybox providers. This tax took effect since April 13th 2012, but we chose to absorb it for as long as we could to prevent your rates from increasing. However, to meet the cost of maintaining a quality service, we can no longer pay this tax on your behalf.
Maximum Package Size
What size package can I receive through my EZShopTT account?
You can receive packages of just about any size. What you have to keep in mind is that we use airfreight only. Items such as furniture and large appliances can be sent through our EZShopTT Ocean Service. Large items that we often ship via air for our customers include items such ascomputers, electronics, car parts, ready-to-assemble furniture; toys etc. (Please ensure that all shipments are packaged properly as we will not accept liability for damage to goods due to improper packaging.)
How long does it take to receive packages?
Packages that are received at our Miami facility are sent to POS within 24-48 hours of receiving. Local deliveries are performed within one to two business days after the cargo is cleared at the Courier Bond facility.
What payment methods do you accept?
Your courier is equipped with a Linx terminal and can accept Debit Cards (not Credit Cards), Cash and Company Cheques. At our office we accept both Debit and Credit Cards, Cash and Company Cheques. We are unable to accept Personal Cheques.
Credit Card Billing Address
I can't use my local billing address at some websites
Don't worry, you can still shop at these websites. Ask your bank to add your EZShopTT address as an auxiliary billing address to your credit card. This will speed up your checkout process since your billing and shipping address will be identical.
Telephone Number requested by Vendor
During checkout the online vendor requests a telephone number. Should I provide the number for your Miami Warehouse?
Online vendors require your personal telephone number so they can contact you if they need to confirm your order. The telephone number you provide should be the same one your bank has on file with the Credit Card you used for the purchase. In most cases, you must include Trinidad's International Country Code (868) e.g. 868-555-5555.

What are your Business Hours?
Our Trinidad office is open Monday to Friday, from 8AM to 5PM and Saturdays 9AM to 1PM. Later times for package pickups and deliveries can be facilitated at a predetermined fee. Please call in advance. Our Miami Warehouse is open to receive cargo Monday to Friday, 8AM to 12PM, then 12:30PM to 4PM.
Can you ship my mail or magazine subscriptions?

Address Drop Off / Walk-in deliveries
Can items be dropped off at your Miami Warehouse to be sent to me in Trinidad?
Yes, either you or anyone else can drop off items at our Miami Warehouse. We will physically examine the cargo to confirm the contents and issue a Warehouse Receipt to the person who made the delivery. Our receiving hours in Miami are 8AM - 12PM, then 12:30PM to 4PM (Miami Time) Monday - Friday. Click for directions.
Is there anything that I cannot receive through my EZShopTT account?
Items considered to be Dangerous Goods by the FAA will be put on hold in Miami and will not be sent until we receive further instructions from you and all appropriate paper work has been filed and fees paid. These items include all aerosol cans and hazardous chemicals. Please note that shipping hazardous materials correctly is an expensive proposition. If in doubt, please call us before ordering such items. Here is a list of Restricted Items.
My weight from my supplier does not match my package weight from EZSHOPTT.COM. Why is this?
We re-weigh packages both at Miami and Trinidad for security reasons. There will be times your supplier may state your package weight as 2lbs when it is in fact 1lb, or vice versa. We always re-weigh to ensure that you only pay for your ACTUAL weight.
My order was shipped as several separate items. Can you consolidate them in Miami and ship as one package?
There are two points to consider regarding consolidation: In order to maintain our 48-hour delivery commitment, our Miami center schedules each package to be shipped once it's received and processed. The additional logistics required to manage the interception, retention and consolidation of packages isn't feasible for us at this time because our cargo throughput is simply too high. Before your packages arrive in Trinidad however, you can request that we wait until all have arrived before attempting local delivery. You may be concerned that your "extra" packages may cause you to be subjected to expensive volumetric charges. We do not use volumetric calculations to find ways to increase our fees. Yes, you will receive individual invoices for each separate package. However since our fees are based on the package weight, shipping your packages together or separately has no adverse impact on your invoice. This also applies to the Customs Duty and VAT charges - there is no adverse impact whether the items are shipped (and therefore valued) separately or together.
USPS says my package was delivered. What's the delay?
Due to their extremely high volume of parcels, the United States Postal Service is unable to individually verify the status of every delivery. Therefore their records of your package being delivered to our warehouse can often be incorrect. EZShopTT is not liable for any delays for packages shipped via USPS.
I didn't ship with USPS, but my package is still delayed.
Some possible causes of such a delay are: Your complete EZShopTT shipping address was not entered during online checkout.
The shipper did not label your package with your complete delivery address.
If your item is classified as a Restricted Export by US Customs, it can detained in Miami pending the necessary documentation and approval. We will assist and advise you in such cases. However it can be a lengthy and costly process depending on the item.
EZShopTT is not responsible for any package delayed for the above reasons. However, by Prealerting all your packages upon initial purchase, you can help us minimize these types of delays.
What is a fuel surcharge?
A fuel surcharge is imposed on all carriers by all shippers (ocean and air). We at EZShopTT remain committed to serving you our valued customers in the best way possible keeping our "rate per pound" as low as possible.
